About the EU-Funded LLRC Project

Project Overview

The Government of Lesotho, in partnership with the European Union, is implementing a programme titled “Support for the Reform and Strengthening of Governance in Lesotho” with financial support from the 11th European Development Fund (EDF). The goal is to foster **rule of law, good governance, human rights, and gender equality** in Lesotho.

• Improved governance and performance of justice institutions
• Better efficiency in justice service delivery
• Increased access to justice for women, children, and vulnerable groups
• Strengthened accountability and transparency

Access to Legal Information

This platform **eliminates barriers to accessing legal information**. Previously, citizens had to **physically visit government offices** for laws. Now, they can access laws digitally, making governance more inclusive and transparent.

Integration with Local Financial Services

The platform is integrated with **local mobile money and banking services**, making purchasing legal documents easy and convenient.
